Monica began her career as the CFO of a San Francisco property management firm after studying business, economics, and accounting at the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of San Francisco. She has managed over 2,600 properties in Northern and Southern California, and she now owns A & M Property Services, Inc., a management company headquartered in Benicia. This experience makes her an incredible ally for investors, as she has an in-depth understanding of all aspects of property ownership.

With so many accomplishments, people are usually surprised to learn that Monica was born with a rare heart condition that has required multiple surgeries. That’s because she grew up in a family that instilled in her a can-do attitude and a hard-work ethic, which has given her the doggedness to overcome any obstacle and a dedication to giving back. It has also filled her with gratitude, a robust appreciation for life, and profound empathy for others. “I guess you could say I serve from the heart!” she says.

 

This is evident outside of her real estate career, too. Monica supports Heart to Heart, a program that teaches surgeons around the world to perform corrective surgery for kids with congenital heart defects.
